More 'Slammed' Writing - Friday the 5th:

A strained look of pain crossed Toklo’s face. “What an unlucky change of fate,” he thought angrily, wincing and grimacing. A fallen branch had landed in the middle of the path and the incredible scenery, which now seemed to look dull and boring, had distracted him and made him fall over. “I hope its not to bad,” he thought but he wasn’t quite sure. He tried to stand up but the result was painful.

“It can’t be broken,” he said. “It just can’t

The fall had been dangerous because there had been a ditch behind the enormous log. He had tumbled down the side of the ditch and he had landed in an awkward position in the middle. He tried getting up again but again failed. “ How am I going to get home,” he worried. “Wait, calm down everything’s going to be okay, you’ll get home,” he thought but he knew he would be incredibly lucky if that was true.

Once Upon a Time, under a bridge, far far away, there lived an electric catfish.  He was bored of having no-one swimming in his river and he was sick of watching television all day long.  One day, someone decided to have a swim in the river.  'Now am I going to die or is it a trick?  Hmmmm, I'll just go for it.'  Suddenly, 'AAAAHHHHH,' the person said.  The catfish thought, 'do I stop eating or do I keep on going?"

Hunter looked at the deer and felt his tummy rumbling like a bird after a worm. So he sprinted fast as a cheetah and quietly as a mouse. The poor deer was still sleeping. As he was running hunter saw a shadow creeping over him. He turned around and saw a adult deer coming towards him. The mother deer sprinted for the fawn and charged at  Hunter. at the same time  the poor baby woke up and run for his life like cats after mice then the mother went for Hunter. Hunter ran for his life he saw big Oak tree and decided to climb up it but there was no time. Hunter had to make a decision to  climb the tree or not to climb the tree. Hunter turned around and made a run for it he climb the tree as fast as he could.

Our 'Slammed' Writing from Thursday the 28th:

As I stood up on my hind legs, Kylen and his family clapped and cheered. Being rewarded with a dog treat made it fine, but honestly, I don't get it. Why does everybody think it's so cute? What am I supposed to do? Let out cheerful barks when they roll over in their sleep or when they go on their hands and knees to pick up a dusty old coin?

Oh, if you’re wondering who Kylen is he’s a fourteen year old boy. Also my ‘owner’. Again, doesn’t make any sense, right? I thought I was my own dog. Theres no label on me that says ‘Property of Kylen Jones.’ Well, I guess theres my collar which says ‘Charlie, Dog of Kylen Jones.’ But still.

Amy’s eyes flew wide open as she turned her head to James who was walking to the window to close it.Thoughts rushed through her head “you have to warn him!! “they screamed “you’ll be the dumbest if you don’t”. But Amy knew that electricity could travel freely through the human body and her head started hurting as the thoughts started fighting over which would take over her mind.

A huge shadow appears it is moving quick then I notice its coming my way. it seems to be a giant huge megalodon thats about to eat me like a peanut butter  and jelly sandwich made freshly but what I was more worried about getting splashed by water because my flames will burn out and I will get my wings wet so then I can't fly. Up the the megalodon came.I tried to get away but I couldn't  because I was so so hungry!!!

Some snippets from our Thursday (the 21st) writing slam:

I will never forget the accident! As the plane hurtled towards the railway a train sped under head. Boom! As the plane smashed into the back carriage the force of the crash ripped the engine out of the train the pilot tried to stop the1 plane by pushing the reverse thrust but in the rush he push the throttle up to max. as the plane/train sped up on the railway the tips of the wing got  chopped off by the rain shelter. Then the plane started to take off the weight of the train made it harder for the plane to lift off. But suddenly the plane started to stall it smashed into the ground with a sickening thud!

Since she was clean and was feeling fresh May decided to find a place to sleep as she noticed the sky was darkening as well. Around the stream there were lots of bushes and shrubs perfect for a bear to sleep. She started examining the bushes, giving a little sniff here and there. She picked up the scent of a bear, but since it was faint she assumed it would be safe. She picked an area, settled down and watched the sunset.She continued to watch  as the sky turned a bright candy floss pink mixed with honey yellow and a faint rosy red. Just as the sun started to hide behind the hills she felt sleep creep over her, like a spider crawling over its web. She let it take control of her and fell into a peaceful dreamless night.

there was a cop near by and saw the whole thing. He had no idea that the neighbourhood was cursed no one ever told him. The ghost spotted the cop and decided to posses the cop. The ghost made the cop go on a murder spree then he killed the cop. Legend has it the ghost is still out there possessing its victims and then killing them.

I am trying to shoot the mutant creepers to stop them blowing up my house.  But I have a trap in the sand that is activated by redstone by a switch.  The switch is in the control room which is at the bottom of the earth.  The trap is full of TNT.  But it's all over the place and is activated by a redstone trail which leads to 19-27 piston's in the secret lair.  But the code is *****

Mother's Day is coming up and we thought about those times that we really, really appreciated our mum being our mum.  Here are some of our awesome thoughts:

Dear Mum

Thank you for taking me to Australia? It was so much fun.  I enjoyed seeing some tigers and going to Sea World to see a baby polar bear and a mother polar bear with a daddy polar bear.  My favourite part was seeing the penguins and the dolphins.  I loved the show that the dolphins did, and to see my Aunty and Max and Gabby and P.K. the dog.

Dear #1 Mum

I will never forget the time that you took me to the north cape I had such a good time with you! I love how you cook me delicious food every day of my life. no one can have a better mum than you if there is you will still be my favourite. thanks for letting me have the best time of my life,thank you for always taking my side and being there for me when i needed you.You have given me an awesome life, I would never had made this far without you.

MUM WENT TO AUSTRALIA AND BROUGHT A LOT OF PRESENTS AND I LOVED IT. SHE COOKS DINNER THAT’S LOVELY. SHE HELPS ME WHEN I’M SICK. SHE IS THE BEST MUM CAUSE OF ALL THE STUFF SHE DOES.

I Will Never Forget the Accident!

I will never forget the accident!

It was so embarrassing. I finally decided to do something about it, but what was I going to do, I didn’t want to become a bully myself. Bullying the class bully would just be despicable. Not only was he the teacher’s son, but he was a hero to all the bullies in school, and a big threat to me, and bad enough I get picked on called teacher’s pet, I also get beaten up by Leon. “Toby dinner,” said mum, “and don’t wear that stupid hood,” shouted mum. I came down with a guilty look on my face. Mum looked in horror. I had a black eye and a bleeding lip. “Toby what did you do to make Leon angry,” dad asked cautiously. “Nothing,” I said, “He said it was a accident, but I didn’t believe him so I threw a couple of punches and this is the end result,” I told them. “Well now your grounded so go to bed without dinner” mum said. “B-b-but mu…” I said. “I said with out!” She said again, so I ran up to my room and didn’t say a word!
