Hopefully you have all had a chance to read the information booklet about 1:1 devices that was sent home today with your child. If you have not seen the information, please check with them. It was sent home with all students.
If you don't have the information, Mrs. Cavanagh has put it all on her blog and you can find it right here.
I've very excited about the implementation of 1:1 devices. I think the programme will help your child to further extend their learning and keep building on the base of knowledge that they currently have.
If you have any questions about the information, please ask. I urge all of you to come to the information evening where all your questions will be answered. Even if you don't have any questions, we would love to have you come along and hear about all the fantastic things we have planned.

Our key learning this week
One of the concepts that we are looking at this week is the idea that our water supply is limited or finite and that it just goes around in a cycle.
Click here to watch a video about the water cycle and think about what evaporation, condensation, and precipitation are.

Homework for Week 8
The homework for week 8 has now been published on the homework page. You will have noticed that we didn't have homework last week. Since it was a busy week with swimming, I decided to give all of you a week off.

Maths Resources
The 'Maths Resources' page has been updated. Check out the page for ideas of how you can help to get your child practicing maths at home.
Have you tried taking your child shopping? There are lots of numbers at the grocery store. It's a great place to practice doubling numbers.

A Little Maths Riddle For You To Solve
“Once there was a man who had to take a wolf, a goat and a cabbage across a river. But his boat was so small it could only hold himself and one other thing.
The man didn’t know what to do. How could he take the wolf, the goat, and the cabbage over one at a time, so that the wolf wouldn’t eat the goat and the goat wouldn’t eat the cabbage?”
On offer are 3 extra dojo points for the first 5 people with the correct answer written down or e-mailed to me.
Good Luck
